SUMMER 3373 > The history

SUMMERKIWITM is the result of a research which was began by Vincenzo Ossani with the aim of selecting new early ripening kiwi varieties. The work was very exacting because of the high number of controlled cross-fertilization trials (about 18.000), but extremely gratifying result were reached in a short time. The new cultivar became property of Dalpane Vivai, and it was further developed in order to obtain productive stability, in joint work with Bologna University.

At present, two female varieties and one male variety have been selected, and patented with a European Community C.O.V. since 2001.
