New fruit varieties often come from nations where research
is developed over many years, or where it is mainly endowed
by the State.
Dalpane Vivai has relied on the quality of Italian research,
in particular on a work of the Farming Practice School “F.C.Caldesi” of
Faenza, where Mr. Vincenzo Ossani began in 1984 his trials
to select early ripening and self-fertile varieties through
the crossbreeding of a fertile male with Hayward. Caldesi School
gave its name to many well known white pulp nectarines, such
as Caldesi 2000, Caldesi 2010, Caldesi 2020. |
