An effective quality system cannot leave a careful control
over traceability aside. Dal Pane’s traceability develops
through following steps:
•Clones selection
•Micro-propagation (an exclusive at Farm-holding Vincenzo
Venturi- Luogoraro di Cesena)
•Propagation by hard wood cutting and soft wood cutting
on hotbed
•Cultivation in greenhouse and/or nursery
•Monitoring of the whole productive process:
-In the production lot we find a code composed of: a letter
identifying the greenhouse or the tunnel of cultivation,
and a number identifying the bed or the row of cultivation.
-During the whole productive process, coloured labels identify
with each colour a single variety
-Records about every processing on each production lot (irrigations,
fertilizations, treatments, toppings, substrate preparation,
potting, and moving).
-Weekly technical and sanitary controls over the plants
at all nurseries and greenhouses (Verona, Castel Bolognese
and Latina), in order to verify the sanitary state of the
plants, the variety conformity, the ways of cultivation,
the observance of agronomical instructions and the filling
in and conservation of the forms.
-Plants’ extirpation and storing up, identifying the
production lot. |
